As a <strong>1995 Chairman\u2019s Award winner and Hall of Fame team<\/strong>, we are proud to uphold the values of FIRST Robotics and inspire future generations of engineers, programmers, and leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2016, we transitioned from a school-based team to a <strong>community-based<\/strong> organization, broadening our reach while maintaining strong connections with the Nashua High Schools. As a <strong>501(c)(3) non-profit<\/strong>, we welcome <strong>high school students from all backgrounds<\/strong> to join us in pushing the limits of technology and teamwork. Our operations are based at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.makeitlabs.com\/\"><strong>MakeIt Labs, 25 Crown Street Nashua NH<\/strong><\/a>, where innovation comes to life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Season: A Year of Innovation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our season runs from <strong>mid-June to mid-June<\/strong>, offering students hands-on experience in engineering, programming, and team operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summer<\/strong> \u2013 Special projects and mentorship opportunities help students and leaders prepare for the upcoming season. Sometimes we run summer classes for new students interested in learning either Java programming or Computer Aided Design (CAD). Email us if you are a new student interested in these areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fall (September \u2013 December)<\/strong> \u2013 Pre-season training focuses on skill development in design, programming, mechanical systems, electronics, and business operations. This is when we register most of our new students. Check our <a href=\"https:\/\/nashua151.org\/wp\/nashua-tough-techs-registration-information\/\" title=\"Registration Information\">Registration Page<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Winter (January \u2013 February)<\/strong> \u2013 The <strong>Build Season<\/strong> kicks off with the global FIRST Robotics Challenge reveal. In just <strong>six to eight weeks<\/strong>, we design, build, and refine a robot entirely from scratch to compete in that year\u2019s game.<br><br><strong>Spring (March \u2013 April)<\/strong> \u2013 Competition season begins! We typically <strong>compete twice<\/strong> in New England, striving to advance to the <strong>District Championship<\/strong> and ultimately the <strong>FIRST Championship (Nationals).<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Empowering Future Leaders<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nashua Tough Techs are a <strong>student-led team<\/strong>, where students take charge of designing, building, and competing, with mentors providing guidance and expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students join <strong>sub-teams<\/strong> that focus on specialized skills, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Engineering &amp; Fabrication<\/strong> \u2013 Mechanical, electrical, and software development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Strategy &amp; Game Analysis<\/strong> \u2013 Scouting and competition planning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Operations &amp; Business<\/strong> \u2013 Fundraising, media, outreach, and team management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During the <strong>Build Season<\/strong>, these sub-teams reorganize into <strong>system teams<\/strong>, each responsible for key components of the robot\u2019s development.
