Tough Techs Summer Robotics Program 2026

Looking for something exciting to do this summer? Join the FIRST Robotics Team 151 Tough Techs Summer Program and learn how real robots are designed, built, programmed, and operated!

Whether you are completely new to robotics or already have experience, our summer program is a great way to learn new skills, meet other students, and become part of an energetic and welcoming team.

Program Details

Dates: July 7th – August 25th
Time: Tuesdays, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Cost: Free
Grades: Open to students entering grades 9–12
Open To: Students from Nashua and surrounding communities

What You’ll Learn

Students can explore many different areas of robotics and teamwork, including:

  • Computer Aided Design (CAD)
  • Robot Programming
  • Electrical Systems
  • Mechanical Design and Fabrication
  • Team Leadership and Operations
  • The business and outreach side of running a robotics team

Our program is hands-on, collaborative, and beginner-friendly. No prior experience is required.

Who Runs the Program?

The program is led jointly by experienced adult mentors and student team leaders from Team 151 Tough Techs. Students learn directly from people who actively build and compete with robots during the FIRST Robotics Competition season.

What Should You Bring?

For students interested in CAD or programming, bringing a laptop is recommended but not required.

FIRST Robotics is an international program that combines engineering, programming, teamwork, and competition. Students work together to design and build large industrial-style robots while developing technical and leadership skills in a fun, team-based environment.
